Spanish Pool House

We were asked to develop a design for a new pool-house building as annexe to an existing house in Andalusia, Spain. The new building contains the pool on three sides and opens and frames a view back to the main house. The roof over sails lots of shaded areas as a retreat from the sun. The form takes inspiration from shapes and traditions of the region.
